WW1 Herritage POPPIES.

I have just finished embellishing some wonderful poppy prints by the artists of St Mary’s RC Primary Horwich. Alongside this I needed to attach the stems to their beautiful blood red poppies created out of stoneware clay. I feel this rich red glaze depicts the blood shed during this cruel war. The children created all the flowers and each was unique.

A great collection of works inspired by their work with Neil West. Written pieces and poems. A real credit to a great creative class. YEAR 6 2016.
