Creative Critters

Well if you go down to the woods today you will certainly have a big surprise… Children of Ladywood school and their Mums, Dads and Carers had a great time making fungi with a difference…Slithering Slugs, lounging lizards and many other critters take up residence on these amazing creations.. They will become part of a woodland trail and will offer homes for real critters too…So much to see and what an amazing project Janet Rhodes from “Playing for Success”.  Great to be part of it…

Real fun working with Janet Rhodes at Playing for Success….a great opportunity to get our hands dirty and see what we could create out of mud…Thank you Janet.

Batik Creations…..

I love it when a plan comes together…

2  very different projects.  The vivid colours and excitement of  year 1 trip to Bolton’s Queens park.  Capturing their observations and the wonder of what they saw… Statues, swans, Victorian steps and railings… foliage, trees, flowers and wild life. An amazing group of creative children. 3 panels of memories.

A stain glass batik window…each panel depicting a school value and mission, totally designed by young creators at St James C E School Farnworth…With details that are revealed as you take time to ponder….
